Full moon magic at Pilot Baba, Suryavinayak Bhaktapur 🌕
Sometimes, all it takes is a short escape from the city’s hustle to reconnect with what truly matters. Recently, a few friends and I ventured to Pilot Baba Ashram in Suryavinayak, Bhaktapur—a serene spot nestled in the hills of Ghyampe Danda, just a brief drive from the city.
As the sun began to dip below the hills, the air grew cooler, and the landscape turned golden. The view from Pilot Baba was breathtaking—rolling green hills, peaceful silence, and the soft rustle of trees swaying in the evening breeze. It felt like time had slowed down just for us.
What made the evening even more special was the full moon rising above the horizon. The entire area was bathed in silver light, casting long shadows and creating a dreamy atmosphere that felt straight out of a movie. We sat in silence for a while, just soaking it all in—no distractions, just friends and the full moon.
Short trips like these remind us how healing nature can be. Whether it’s the calm of the hills or the quiet companionship of close friends, it’s the little escapes that leave the biggest mark.
If you haven’t been to Pilot Baba during a full moon night, put it on your list—you won’t regret it.
